deep sea fishing the boy’s bluster lost in the whitecaps
—Bruce H. Feingold
Issue 12.1 | 20 November 2012
g'day Bruce,
I like the salty movement of this.
peace and love
Nice job. Brought to my mind Rudyard Kipling's CAPTAINS COURAGEOUS. (I'm not suggesting there was any influence.)
I love this – the use of 'bluster' and 'whitecaps' is great.
I enjoyed the poem… A great movie too with Spencer Tracy, Freddy Bartholomew, Lionel Barrymore, Melvin Douglas, Mickey Rooney, and John Carradine:
approaching storm the boatman fingers the bowl
In Memory of John Carradine
I enjoy your work, Bruce.
Alan
Very neat two line haiku Martin, very much enjoyed.
