how to remember
how to forget
—Perry L. Powell

Wow, that's good.
I like this a lot. So rich with meaning and feeling!
ten New Year days
you will never call
striking in its simplicity
what to forget
what to remember
Layers in this! Very effective, Perry.
So well described the human condition. Some anniversaries you want to remember. Others to forget.
The richness comes from the poet trying to figure out how to forget the pain but remember the joy: how to separate the two.
