The sound of this poem feels like it is dragging itself along, effectively reflecting the day to day drudgery for the war veteran who continues to experience mental and physical pain.

Also a timely posting for Remembrance Sunday.

I love the build up to Christmas, and the hope there will be a lot of. snow, but post-Christmas can be tough. From actual war wounds, to an accumulation of childhood and young adulthood experiences, the coldness of the season can bring so much back.
