Lovely haiku – as a fisherman myself I recall the quiet moments on a stream, the finesse and mindfulness of casting, the contrast of freedom of being outdoors & "measuring" and 'oneness' in nature. Nicely executed with the longer last line of human endeavor of measuring.

    __ Coming soon!

    roll cast
the fly sets to the last ring
    a tail swirls

Wonderful! Love that 'one cast after another' that also 'measures' the brook!

    boys fishing
    a pointillism of raindrops
    dot the river
