Rusty roof creaking
Under the hot midday sun
Summer storms brewing

    perhaps, i need a vacation.

i wonder who would trade their home for mine, in
south florida, for a week or two; by the way, it's hurricane season.

what can i say, that hasn't already been said.

nigel, too many words; some may think out loud, "bob, aren't you (the) professor at this school of verboseness".

i was once informed of the problems (involving) too many words (ending) in "ing". with that in mind, here my re-write:

    rusty roof-
    summer storms brewing
    sunny, until midday

nice 5-7-5, nigel, however at times it's not necessary.

    i enjoyed your thoughts, nigel
