Enveloping
all of the moon at night--
white chrysanthemums

I enjoyed this vivid imagery - perhaps the moon is reflected in a garden pond?...and itself reflected by the white flowers...beautiful.

I love the way this haiku complements and echoes another chrysanthemum haiku by Hisajo.

    she's the golden flower
    symbolic sun *
    the chrysanthemum

    undying love, fidelity
    she touches my lips ~
    given to my beloved
    the chrysanthemums

    unfolding petals -
    chrysanthemum throne
    sits perfection
