I enjoy K. Ramesh's work perfusely. He has also been published in bottle rockets:a collection of short verse where his style fits quite well. I find his poems original, clean and multilayered in ways that sneak up on you. Just like finding the tennis ball under the leaves, an experience many of have had. His creativity often takes haiku into fresh territory, a much needed thing.

    slum baby?
set off my imagination, specially next to a tennis club

    incessant crowing--
    no lack of roosters
    for the pot today
