at the ferry landing

ocean foam
ebbing back and forth
back and forth back and
typhoon rages--
furious runaway train
hour after hour
crisscross breezes--
moored boats in harbor
turning helter skelter
raging waves at beach
my heart calm
as the nearby sand
unexpected terror -
small cruise ship
Baltic Sea storm
shifting wind...
three terns drift
above the mainsail
Shower of rain
scattered by the wind-
between we, the quiet
yosa buson
he's on the porch,
to escape the wife and kids--
how hot it is!
-
silence
the raptor's flight -
covering my head
by bob
-
Rising ocean waves
Collapsing in exhaustion
Only to try again.
sudden ocean storm--
sheltered on my porch
island coyote
rainy day -
heat and more heat
these days inspire
