looking upon the purple flowers - remembered by my mind's eye - when words are employed, showing equates to telling a pointed finger, decisively different; though some still can't understand -

"maybe" says it all "possibly", no alluding to the impossible. sorry you felt my response was a rebuttal to yours, gene, however your words brought to mind the ongoing discussion of "show" rather than tell "maybe" -
