great gusts of wind
sweep through Yosemite Valley -
autumn leaves falling

a gentle breeze
the squirrels race
the falling leaves
gust of wind
a leaf twirls, drops, sommersaults,
slides down street
multicolored leaves
fading green lawn --
child's face, puppy licks
-
crazy fall weather
a bumper crop
of wild mushroons
indian summer -
plentiful meal
shirley's wild mushrooms sautéed
crushed pumpkin
the sun's rim dips behind the roof
sleepless winter
after midnight
coo of solitary dove
Tombstone wind
the hangmans branch
bends & snaps
sunrise...
a rock climber climbs
the face of El Capitan
sleepy hollow
escapes my thoughts
this lazy wintry noon
