About the author: Patricia has recently retired from teaching after 30 years, and now devotes some time to the reading recovery programme at her local school. She is the co-editor of the New Zealand haiku magazine Kokako and reviews editor of the online magazine Stylus. She writes short stories, poetry, reviews and articles, and likes to write collaborative poems with other poets.

    My response for Mrs. Patricia Prime:
    I am a Albanian Haiku Poet. Three years ago I begun to composed a Haiku Book and Now I am ready yo publish it. I am sending for knowlegde among us two my Haiku:

    I throw a fishline into the lake
    and chought
    the remembransces of love.

    shaking of grass
    from the freshness of afternoon
    confusion's feelings...

    kutjim,
    your responses are nice, but i think
    you should get a bit more practice
    under your belt before you publish
    a book. well, maybe in your native
    language, but i'd hold off on the
    english version for awhile.
