A silver raindrop
quivers on a leaf tip --
receding thunder.

cooling raindrop
'gainst my brow--
not a cloud in the sky
on wood's peaks
the moon,
the candle blaze...
morning mist gemmed
the survival snare
a night spider's art
sky thundering
sisters huddling by boulder
hold each other's hand
