a breeze
through the lilacs
last night's rain

    A touch as light as the breeze. Beautiful.

    It's interesting that the last line evokes a memory, or rather reflects the memory evoked by scent. I'm accustomed to haiku as a "snapshot" focused in this moment; I found this very refreshing!

    ann, your first line caused me some thought;
    something(breeze) so insignificant can bring such wonderful relief. this breeze created by a difference in temperature; wouldn't it be fitting if people's differences brought on anything closely resembling a resulting breeze...

    -

    spring evening
    spindly frond dance
    with the breeze
