    a haiku with a good sense of humor

    when i was a student i worked in a home for the aged and we (the staff, the helpers) needed a lot of humor and respect to solve unexpected and sometimes very difficult situations

    Thanks Alan, Magyar, Bill, Angelika, and Josh. I'm not sure if 'father' had the kids to himself that day, if his wife was phoning to see how he was doing, if she was somewhere else momentarily and it was her phone that was ringing . . . but I did empathize with the man. lol
