    Blimey!

I think mine might be a glass of sauvignon blanc before it warmed up. ;-)

Enjoyed the haiku, and I hope you don't get anymore powercuts.

I think this one is quite humorous and light -- a very nice and unexpected treat, just like ice cream :)

Thanks, Allan . . . Chances are excellent, however, for a repeat performance. :-)

Hi Angelica. This is actually a winter haiku, but Dylan didn't know that. :-) Besides, we've also had power outages in the summer, but they don't last as long.

I guess I should take up drinking, Carole. Every one has such great ideas! lol

    Love it, Susan!
    And yes, it could happen

I just discovered your comment, Ed. Thanks so much. For some reason, a few haiku have also gone missing in cyberspace. Glad you could enjoy this haiku . . . and your Rocky Road! :-)

susan, i'm reminded of previous times during hurricane season; with the lost of power, and lack of ice, everything was readily abundantly eaten for salvage sake.
these days, many have standby power generators. as the storm rages, the lights remain on...

    -

    by candle light-
    flicking the switch
    the lights remain off
