moonrise...
geese argue
with their shadows

    sunset
    I turn my back
    on the night

    'splattered paint sky
    rooftop silhouettes
cut out of darkness' - anon

When the meteors came I was stood on the roof (for a better view) - otherwise the street would have been empty.

How fresh and familiar. I like to argue with my shadow, too.

A refreshing aural take on a geese haiku. I have enjoyed this haiku, and the geese have stayed with me!
