so resonant of last summer - the water guttering down leaves, dripping into the canals

With the current weather here in Blighty, the green is about all that's forgiving the rain...and the wind...and the grey...and...I'll stop there. :)

a resolute affirmation of the sublime

    executed with grounding precision,

    the words have wieght.

    Rain puddles, Nature's
    mirrors,reflections rippled
    by bathing birds wings.

Or in another venue common to some:

    all this green
    forgiving the rain
    mud on the track

"All this green forgiving the rain."

succinct and so eloquent. I'll remember you forever for this gift!

I loved Philip McDonnell's reply. We've all been there.

Thank you. What is important and moving you've
    so simply and beautifully executed!
It brings my mind to times I have spent with
the green and wet and spony mosses as they
begin to appear when two environments meet.

    Hi Lynne,
    this is simply beautiful!
    And beautifully simple --
    yet complex.
    Good to see you here!
