We invite you to contribute/submit to the next issue of tinywords, 13.2.
This issue will not have a theme. Please send your best, preferably unpublished work. We’re looking for haiku, tanka and other tiny poems, brief tanka prose and brief haibun. From traditional to cutting edge. Quality is the common denominator. So touch us, startle us, make us see the world anew. We’re also interested in haiga and other art that combines very short poems with art. Be creative. That’s what we’re here for.
We’ll read previously published submissions (please provide details), but prefer new work. Appearance on a personal blog or online workshop is no impediment. We will respond within a few weeks so please, no simultaneous submissions.
Please use the form below to submit your work. No more than 5 works per author in total.
Deadline: June 1, 2013. Submissions must be received by the end of the day, Pacific time.
Instructions
If you put more than one poem in the form, please separate the poems with *** or ——- or some other repeating symbol. Or submit each poem separately.
If you want to submit haiga, photos, paintings, or other media, please include a URL where we can find it.
Log in first. If you have an author account here, please log in here before submitting. (If you’ve been published on tinywords before, you already have an author account! It’s linked to your e-mail address. And don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your password; you can request a new one on that login page.)
Please create an author account on tinywords if you don’t already have one.
You will receive an e-mail confirmation when your submission has been received. If you don’t, something has gone wrong and your submission is not in our queue.
