That's lovely, Bob, both celebratory and elegaic.

Love the fusion of concrete color of the flower and abstract blues, the concrete height of the vine and the dying tree, but also the unspoken dying wisteria, not to mention the echo of "wisteria" with "wistfulness." Exquisite mixed feelings.

The sadness of a dying tree under the weight of one of the loveliest of vines, with its blue/purple grape-bunch flowers, greedily insistent upon climbing over and overpowering everything.

Beautiful work, Bob! I miss you. You were one of the best editors I ever had. Hope you're doing well.

Beautifully sad and thought provoking, Bob. The dying tree continues to support the still-blooming wisteria. Life goes on.
