Deb Koen came of age climbing the trees, roaming the fields, and swimming the streams of rural New York State. She combines her love of nature with her writing practice. Deb is widely published in haiku journals and received the Haiku Society of America's 2nd Place Haibun Award (2014). Her collections include On the Planet, Seasons of the Finger Lakes, and Coming of Age--With The Beatles, in addition to Career Choice, Change & Challenge from her work in professional development.
