the wolf’s howl ~
the clouds release their confetti
winter’s arrival
spring birds
incant fresh notes
breeze on shadows ~
sound of the buzz saw
cutting through the mountain range …
the lazy river
sprouting…
the poems we planted
with our tears
morning’s arrival –
still hearts peer
through from the darkness
