photo shoot-
my shadow
on xray film
end of my road
wintry day’s end –
hotel’s registration desk
her shadow
on the bedroom wall-
reaching for the light
airline lost luggage
-direct flight, SFO to Toronto!
.. suspicious hotel clerk
street light-
walking past light pole
my shadow races ahead
sun
warms the
light luggage
table candle–
as she walks by
my heart and shadow flutter
dusk romance
as we kiss our shadows hit
the door of a beach house
Scorching heat –
for a moment, the briefcase’s shadow
cools down the dry grass
vacation ending —
red sun setting
lower in the sky
