    All the time I pray to Buddha
    I keep on
    killing mosquitoes
    ====================

    cricket sings out –
    through the darkness
    sound of traffic

  2. I could hear and see the chirping and the yellowishness of the sunrays whenever I read/cherish this Haiku.

  3. Fine Haiku ~ Gratitude.

    many butterflies
    roam the Shiva temple~
    fragrant Vedic mantrams~

    Buddha in moonlight~
    a frog sings incessant
    desh on the flute~

    drinking rainwater
    from a Buddha’s paw
    a dragonfly in
    Samaadhi~
