ocean foam
ebbing back and forth
back and forth back and
ocean foam
ebbing back and forth
back and forth back and
typhoon rages–
furious runaway train
hour after hour
crisscross breezes–
moored boats in harbor
turning helter skelter
raging waves at beach
my heart calm
as the nearby sand
unexpected terror –
small cruise ship
Baltic Sea storm
shifting wind…
three terns drift
above the mainsail
Shower of rain
scattered by the wind-
between we, the quiet
yosa buson
he’s on the porch,
to escape the wife and kids–
how hot it is!
–
silence
the raptor’s flight –
covering my head
by bob
–
Rising ocean waves
Collapsing in exhaustion
Only to try again.
sudden ocean storm–
sheltered on my porch
island coyote
rainy day –
heat and more heat
these days inspire
