My name is JÖRGEN JOHANSSON, living in Lidköping, Sweden, and I'm a member of the on-line CHERRY POETRY CLUB. I wrote my first haiku in April, 2001, and started, of course, to write in my native language, publishing a couple of haiku "pamphlets" on my own RIVER MAN publ. co. In March of 2003 I wrote my first haiku in English, and haven't looked back since; i now write DIRECTLY into English. View all posts by Jörgen Johansson
house sale
the buyer wants to know all
its previous owners
Pensive haiku.
A brown study revealing
visions of sad delight.

chilly autumn morn
tiny webs amidst the grass —
gatherer of dew
–
burnt pine straw –
remembrance, good and bad times
life’s ebbs and flows
estate sale ~
a stranger caresses
the spinster’s locket
The first salesman:
autumn wind sweeping hastily
all the courtyard
clouds further away —
day ends
beginning to a new week
autumn chill
leaves cover the grave
solitude –
winter dream
touched by your hand
