sunset long
drawn quack
the duck calls out to a missing friend
sunset long
drawn quack
the duck calls out to a missing friend
crows roost at night
downtown sacramento
dirty windshield
before dawn-
a family of geese
greet the rowers
City afternoon–
Sparrows dropping excrement
To stay aloft
bounce of
the dead limb —
lumbering flight of the raven
–
circus clown
a crow lands on the collapsed tent
string of sea gulls
meandering evening flight —
city dump fades
