park bird chirps
how i miss the old woman
who does not turn up today
from my window-
two blue jays
bathe in rainwater
Don’t mind all that fall.
Condensing onto concrete,
To sound the gutter.
ice covered basin —
a wren faces east
waiting for the sun
Clear sky again…
The birds’ bath filled
with rain water
ominous dawn
blackbird’s squawks from the blacken pine —
heartbeat counts my pace

stringer lights
solemn evening
