she shops for a babushka
in Bloomingdale’s
day without tinywords
haiku appear
in my dreams
–
featherless fledgling —
umbrella tree
shades on a sunny day
–
bare model
chilly autumn day
cloth seating, optional
–
intense blue sky
geese, v-formation
changes underway
overseas award
keeping even
the envelope
well into winter –
toddler runs
from grandfather’s outstretched hand
–
