broken cup the moon reappears in a puddle of tea Published by Ed Markowski Ed Markowski writes and paints in America's Great Lakes Region. View all posts by Ed Markowski
a moment lost-
found again
in his smile
Very nice image, Ed.
from a leaf’s tip,
a puddle reflecting
the leaf
late fall
a tea leaf dries
in the cup
rough stone shatters
the mirrored lake
harvest moon shimmers, then stands still
–
brown face on
a black granite slab –
art with spilled tea
The moon from depth…
A greedy fly drinking
all the drop of tea
mid autumn festival
welcoming at sea
two full moons
A little baked clay
from the potter’s wheel
serves the evening tea.
quarter pass midnight
reclining crescent moon —
the day grows longer
