the mountain
disappears

So many dewdrops
on the blades of grass…
Indian Summer
vanishing moon-
autumn sun peeking
through the clouds
harvest moon, higher than usual,
my emotions, tonights
walk on the beach,
in the shadows, of her eyes …
the mountain top dimples under the strider’s leg
funeral procession
autumn fires
birds line the way
inhale, exhale
another mountain looming
vapors of my life
bright heads
little weeds
gathering mist
Country road-
the sounds of horns
tear the mist
magician’s wand –
wispy smoke cross the dawn
pines reappear
–
