Hi – I like that one! :) Aren’t haikus supposed to be 3-5-3? or 5-7-5?
Yours is 3-4-5. Just wondering how they work. perhaps all different ways?
I like how Haiku has shifted from the very strict 5-7-5 structure. So, to those in doubt, Haiku no longer has a definition. When a Haiku is created, then it will reveal itself, I suppose.
Love Fran’s work – one of the best Haiku writers of today.

post funeral—
a prostitute sleeps
by herself
skid row…
a kitten clings on to
the hunchback´s hump
at the end
of memory lane,
sun going down
old brothel
an old man
mills around
is this a haiku? if you think so, please
tell me why.
