Taunting.
Lamp taunts moth, moth taunts cat; home tempts.
golden eyes
hiding in the yellow leaves.
yellow cat
poem for my daughter –
day she’s born
an angel receives a heart
winter letter
i shake the frozen
ink
autumn leaves, crisp
and frayed between pages
re-call muted memories
spring solitary walk
past neighbor’s darken window–
startles statuesque cat
