  1. Hi, Betty read below a haiku from Albania:

    the moon
    girl-friends face
    thousands kilometers far away…

  2. kujtim,

even though your english is rough, i always
enjoy your albanian / english haiku. many
albanians here are restaurant owners, and
    cooks.

  3. Betty you genius. This was lying around under our noses all these years and you were the only one to see it! You have forever changed my definition of a billowy grey day.

    empty afternoon-
    crows grow distant
    in a flat white sky

  4. Hello Betty, Bret, and Group, 5-30-06
Thanks for sharing your free form haiku which is a different haiku form than the traditional 5,7,5. I like your shorter haiku with the kigo words. The art teacher and I won a FedCo Com. grant for our middle school so we are reading, speaking, writing, dancing and even rapping haiku to a beat. Can you suggest any Japanese music or movie titles? Thanks, Janis
