spring walk –
my son tries to reach
the sky with a stick

I live in the Polish seaside city of Gdansk. I like thinking and analysing, but mostly I appreciate the beauty of simplicity. That's why I like haiku. I'm trying to be useful helping people suffering from cancer and teaching them how to write poetry.

Nice haiku Gosia! A delightful moment…
I feel an urge to move away

Nice haiku and such a great thing that you do helping people write poetry who are suffering with cancer. Keep up all the great work!

Nice work! Well captured moment…
I really enjoy the “concrete poetry” form of this haiku – having the word “reach” above the rest of the words in the next line. It’s perfect.
Gorgeous! The image will stay with me.
Hey! Well done!!!

Very fine, I can picture this wee whippersnapper toying with the clouds!
May he never stop reaching.
