Blimey!
I think mine might be a glass of sauvignon blanc before it warmed up. ;-)
Enjoyed the haiku, and I hope you don’t get anymore powercuts.
Cheers!
A good (modern) summer haiku!
Your haiku made me laugh Susan. So true… next time try adding a little kaluha!:-)
Carole
I love this one! :)
I think this one is quite humorous and light — a very nice and unexpected treat, just like ice cream :)
Thanks, Allan . . . Chances are excellent, however, for a repeat performance. :-)
Hi Angelica. This is actually a winter haiku, but Dylan didn’t know that. :-) Besides, we’ve also had power outages in the summer, but they don’t last as long.
I guess I should take up drinking, Carole. Every one has such great ideas! lol

Love it, Susan!
And yes, it could happen
any time during the year.
;)

I just discovered your comment, Ed. Thanks so much. For some reason, a few haiku have also gone missing in cyberspace. Glad you could enjoy this haiku . . . and your Rocky Road! :-)
susan, i’m reminded of previous times during hurricane season; with the lost of power, and lack of ice, everything was readily abundantly eaten for salvage sake.
these days, many have standby power generators. as the storm rages, the lights remain on…
