falls one more calendar leaf
I read your haiku
and thanks for it
blizzard on December 3rd . . .
a row of horse rumps
moon the highway
o’keeffe reminds me of frost’s “the road not taken”
“two roads diverged
in a yellow wood…
i took the one less traveled by”
–
those who are dissimilar in life, ofttimes take the path less traveled by; and for mankind “that has made all the difference”
–
beneath o’keeffe’s clouds–
“bleached bones
of animals long gone”
