Sometimes a well composed haiku works with close images, close juxtaposition, as this one does. The technical 'two-tenths' dust really lifts this haiku up again.
Spare, and oh so well observed.
But also optimistic. From the very brevity I have a sense the indomitable type of farmer confronted by such drought. The drought will pass and the crops will return.

Beautiful imagery here Don.
