Marcus Liljedahl was born in the town of Malm? in Sweden.
He has worked as an opera singer since 1998 at the Gothenburg Opera in Gothenburg Sweden, where he lives with his wife and two cats.
Marcus writes haiku in Swedish and in English.
Before writing haiku, he also wrote sonnets, meditations and other rhymed forms of poetry. His poems have appeared in Chrysanthemum, Haijin Italia and The Living Haiku Anthology.
