Shane lives in Salem, OR where he transplanted from the east coast in 2016. He spent much of his career as a bird biologist and now is an abuse data analyst for the state of Oregon. He loves the outdoors and still draws most of his inspiration from a life lived outside. He has been published in a variety of English language haiku journals over the past couple years and hopes to publish a first book soon.
