THIS IS a real small poem with a nod toward senryu.
Thank you, Peter. And thank you as well, Michael, for reminding me of the importance of leaving positive responses to the work that moves me here on tinywords.
It is a wonderfully clever and funny compact “image” of an occurrence many of us have experienced – the shrimp get more attention than the incredibly lovely art and artists encircling the “amuse bouche.” The trick is to express it and the author has.
Kudos to Professor LeBlanc who continues to teach and write and support and entertain.
Jean- I can just imagine the scene … all the art.. the tastes and smells of the food.. maybe some champagne to bubble the senses.. it really sparked my imagination.
