reminding myself this isn’t the first sunrise she didn’t see — just the first we saw without her
—Jean LeBlanc
Issue 13.1 | 8 March 2013
Grief and joy meet. This reminds us that for every image, every feeling, a mirror image exists.
g'day Jean
So good. For every sunrise and sunset this resonates with me so well.
peace and love
Very powerful. I think even just the first three lines can stand alone.
Very poignant. Appeared in my email the same day as a memorial service for a close friend. Really captures the duality of life that loss helps us see. Celebrating life while also mourning loss.
Excellent.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments. How I love the big-hearted tinywords community.
Really lovely.
