Very evocative.
It's a good haiku… it says more than the words… Thanks.
Reading too quickly on Twitter, I first read this as "wind-tossed puppies." Rather changes the meaning.
Nice work and contrasts, Tanya. I did have occasion to visit a junkyard this year, retiring our family car, an old Ford Taurus wagon. It was hard to let it go…..but it was time.
