Ajay was trained as a biomedical engineer, and has co-authored papers published in scientific journals, including the Journal of Mathematical Chemistry, Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, and Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces. After working in the Canadian oil and gas industry for five years, Ajay moved to the US for business school. He has been a consultant (in economics and finance) for over twenty years, first in Washington, DC, and now in his original hometown of Montreal, Canada. He lives with his family and two dogs, and is active in his community. He enjoys reading haiku, and, occasionally, writing his own.
