LAKSHMI IYER lives in Trivandrum, India. In 2022 she co-edited amber i pause, an anthology of haiku and tanka by 76 poets from seven countries. The Haiku Foundation published her interview "New to Haiku: Advice to Beginners" in 2023, and in 2024 her haiku were featured in Mann Library's Daily Haiku. Her collection of poems can be read in the August per diem, 2024 of the Haiku Foundation. She has served as Guest Editor at "Haiku Dialogue" 2025 and "Haiku Girl Summer," 2024 and 2025. Her article, "Prakriti - the pulsating voice of the Gunas," can be read in One Thread: Zoka in Contemporary Haiku, chosen as best anthology in the HSA Merit Book Awards, 2025.
