Lauren Mayhew has been writing haiku and tanka since 2010. Her poems have appeared in bottle rockets, The Heron's Nest, The Nor'Easter, A Hundred Gourds, Ribbons, and Moonbathing. Reading and writing haiku and tanka are an important part of her journey to live a more mindful life. She lives in Somerville, MA and is co-founder of the new Cambridge Haiku Group.
