Saumya Bansal is a poet and author from Agra, India. She has been writing haiku since 2020 and her work appears in journals such as Modern Haiku, Frogpond, Kingfisher, and Wales Haiku Journal. Her poetry has earned recognition in many competitions, including winning the Grand Prize at the 25th International “Kusamakura” Haiku Competition, as well as placements in the Morioka International Haiku Contest, Basho Memorial English Haiku Contest, Japan Fair Haiku Contest, Fujisan Tanka Contest, among others.
