sunlight on weathered pilings
a seagull cries out

so clear
the color of tears …
as the soul cries out, the silence
so clear
the color of tears …
as the soul cries out, the silence
the sun departs
seagulls cry wild in
the astral breeze ~
beach
the little crustaceans
always running for covers
dark red
blood on my hands —
i cry out
–
A dispirited cry
of the lonely seagull…
Then, the silence
grey day
she calls out —
black car carries her sunshine away
