Mid-day sunset:
azure to jade, orange, rose
over blue snow.

Beautiful. I bought a large box of crayons for the first time in years, and thought, “This will help with more colors in my poems.” Such wonderful words: azure, jade, orange, rose, blue…I love “North” too.
“mid-day sunset”
seemingly, just as brief as one’s latter years, nothing ever being long enough, nor warm enough, in the winter of our being.
and yet, there we are, in a period of time, when we feel there’s more to be done
“azure to jade, orange, rose”
on this i pondered, will my twilight(the way it was at my dawning and especially to be in my evening) be as the kaleidoscope
“blue snow”
finality, when all is said and done, the mourning comes…
i didn’t care much for the word (over), so i simply ignored it
looking to a greater depth, dft, what i hadn’t liked at first, i, now, love.
my words from comments past seem to echo through the winding pathway of my mind…
referring to “my enjoying others’ comments almost equally as well as the ‘haiku of the day’ “. after reading ed’s comment, i ponder his usage of “peruse”.
reading the archives carefully or reading the archives quickly.
to mind came a third meaning, however i wonder if another word would have been more suitable, conceivably “browse”; but i could be wrong–

“i dream more and more, of late, it seems”: by me
sun has set ~
waves bring ruby
light ashore
dark sky ~
a little red in
the dark sea ~
night again ~
astral vastness echoes
ocean breeze ~
moonlit beach ~
lovers wade the winds
into the stars ~
flagrant dusk sky
the fairy tale i read
comes to life
birds take to roost
my life in the scheme of things —
eclipse
–
Winter sunset –
flying morever the glaciers
the light become blue
autumnal flowers —
the greys, the blacks
birds on a wire, at dusk
–
dylan,
i peruse the archives now and then, found this

filling
the peach tree’s emptiness…
