midday overcast
crane’s perch …
dimmed streetlight
wire lines
the birds line themselves
up for the night
Power breakdown –
the whole street brighten up
from the white pidgins
drive down dusty road —
catching sight
of faded rainbow
–
a crane reflects self
in green waters ~ a parrot
hovers in delight~
two puppies play~
crows flutter random ~
swans dance light~
monkeys watch sky~
sparrows sing lullaby~
squirrels cleave space~
underpass:
on the street
life’s litter
