with shadows

I found this one a little harder to get into but worth staying with. Fresh snow, a low sun and a lone pedestrian – I can see that.
winter’s greeting
my mind filled with shadows —
a new snow
first winter
the chapped lips of
students from the tropics
cozy evening
with white noise
grandpa wakes up
new moon –
my thoughts filling
with hopes
–
